The New York Giants enter the 2022 NFL Draft as one of the worst teams in the league after finishing the 2021 temper with a 4-13 criminal record, well for last station in the NFC East. Former promontory coach Joe Judge lasted fair two seasons with the team, posting a 10-23 record in 33 games. This offseason, Judge was fired and replaced with former Buffalo Bills nauseating coordinator Brian Daboll. General director Dave Gettleman is gone equally well after a four-year rivulet with the team. Joe Schoen, who spent the last five seasons as the adjunct GM of the Bills, immediately has the GM job for the Giants
together, Schoen and Daboll will begin the rebuild of the Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Giants have nine picks in the Draft, including two within the top seven. The No. 5 overall pluck is their own and the No. 7 overall foot is from a trade with the Bears death year that allowed Chicago to draft Justin Fields. The Giants had a relatively quieten free representation, acquiring stand-in QB Tyrod Taylor and OL Mark Glowinski, and Schoen probably intends to rely heavily on the draft to rebuild the Giants. While Schoen has made an attempt to upgrade the Giants ’ unsavory production line this offseason with the sign of Glowinski and veterans Jamil Douglas and Max Garcia to minimum contracts, there is however a major hole to fill at right undertake. With at least one big-time rigging – NC State ’ sulfur Ikem Ekwonu, Alabama ’ s Evan Neal and Mississippi State ’ s Charles Cross – likely to be available when the Giants make their one-fifth choice, New York could look to fill one of its major needs in the open round The Giants had just six picks in last year ’ second draft and used their alone first-rounder to draft across-the-board liquidator Kadarius Toney, who played 10 games, with alone four starts death season.
